Paul S. Harrell

Paul spent eight years in service to this great Nation as a United States Marine, including a combat tour in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom; that probably explains his zealotry and aggressive nature.

Paul has successfully defended accused citizens in all kinds of settings, from Municipal Court bench trials all the way up to felony jury trials. Additionally, the firm has participated in several civil jury trials, including two hard fought contested custody cases, where Paul was lead counsel (In both of the latter, the firm received a jury verdict in favor of their client). Paul truly believes in the importance of zealous advocacy and has given countless hours to honing his skills, dedicating the time to become a member of the College of the State Bar and a graduate of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer Association Trial College.

After a few years of flying solo, Paul has joined forces with Zac Morris to form a dynamic trial team focused on helping individuals in Central Texas with their legal issues.

Zachary J. Morris

Upon graduation from the Texas Tech University School of Law, Zac spent two years as a Public Defender in Texarkana, Texas. During this time, Zac had the opportunity to gain valuable experience in litigation. During his time in East Texas, Mr. Morris tried multiple felony cases ranging from Sexual Assault to Capital Murder. It was during this time that Mr Morris began developing his aggressive and unique trial tactics for which he is known for today. After his time at the Public Defender's Office, Zac felt his time would be best served in private practice. After making this decision, Mr. Morris moved back to the greater Austin area and set up his solo practice. In mid 2015, Zac ran into fellow Texas Tech alumni, and seasoned trial attorney Paul Harrell. Once the two realized they had the same vision, and passion for advocacy, Harrell & Morris was created to serve as a vehicle for zealous advocacy in Central Texas.

Though Mr. Morris has spent a majority of his time representing the criminally accused, he also uses his seasoned trial experience in family law cases, as well as negotiations with insurance companies in personal injury causes.
